CMFSC U13G BCSPL

The CMFSC U13 Girls BCSPL team capped off an amazing season with a 4-0 win over Surrey United to become the 2018 Provincial Premier Cup Champions. The team got off to a great start, scoring early and getting a comfortable 3-0 lead in the first half. The first two goals were scored by Kaitlyn Johnson in similar fashion, finishing crosses from Kiera Scott. Tara Krsmanovic scored next, assisted by Alyssa Clark to make it 3-0 at the break. In the second half Kaitlyn completed the scoring with a great header off a cross from Sarah Caravatta for her third goal of the game. Goalkeeper, Tore Ruben, maintained a clean sheet, holding Surrey to no goals.

All around, the team played a fantastic game, with strong play from the midfield and the defenders holding off a dangerous Surrey United team. Kaitlyn Johnson was named MVP for the Final Game.

This win completes a very successful season for the CMFSC U13 SPL girls. In league play, they went undefeated with a record of 10 wins, 4 ties and 0 losses, finished in first place while outscoring there opponents by an impressive 33 goals(47 goals scored-and only conceded 14).
