CMFSC BCSPL - Run to Halifax Challenge

In support of the victims from the mass shooting in Nova Scotia, CMFSC BCSPL teams joined the Surrey United Soccer Club BCSPL program's challenge to RUN TO HALIFAX - https://www.surreyunitedsoccer.com/runtohalifax
Everyday, BCSPL players enter their runs into our Club tracking sheet and we post our updates of our distance run starting from Town Centre Park, with a goal to get to Halifax, Nova Scotia (roughly 6,000 kms) by May 11th, 2020.

Day 1 - 267 kms (Town Centre, Coquitlam, BC to Princeton, BC)
Day 2 - 326 kms (Princeton, BC to Central Kootenay, BC)
Day 3 - 342 kms (Central Kootenay, BC to Crowsnest Pass, AB)
Day 4 - 276 kms (Crowsnest Pass, AB to Cypress County, AB)
Day 5 - 214 kms (Webb National Wildlife Area, SK)
Day 6 - 193 kms (Moose Jaw, SK)
Day 7 - 300 kms (Moosomin, SK)
Day 8 - 221 kms (Manitoba)
Day 9 - 338 kms (Williams, Minn, USA)
Day 10 - 462 kms (Lake Superior, ON)
Day 11 - 233 kms (Ontario)
Day 12 - 226 kms (Ontario)
Day 13 - 214 kms (Ontario)
Day 14 - 506 kms (Senneterre, QC)!
Total kilometres run 4,119!!
Though the CMFSC BCSPL teams fell slightly short of the goal of reaching Halifax, Nova Scotia (1,300 kms short), this is still an incredible accomplishment. Great job everyone and a big thank you to Surrey United for putting together this challenge to honour those that lost their lives in the shooting in Halifax.
