Centaurs Capture BC High School Senior Girls AAA Soccer Championship

On Friday, June 1st, 2018, the Centennial Secondary Centaurs took the field at UBC's Thunderbird Stadium to face the Fleetwood Park Dragons in the BC High School Senior Girls AAA Soccer Championship. Despite the Centaurs' control and dominance, the score sheet remained clean for the duration of full-time forcing an overtime game decision. With just over two minutes remaining, a pass from Centennial's Raegan Mackenzie (CMF U16 BCSPL) would find the striking foot of Sophia Ferreira (CMF U15 BCSPL). Ferreira would capitalize on the opportunity sending the game winning goal into the back of the net and securing the AAA Soccer Championship title for the Centaurs.
