Vancouver BC, December 20, 2017 – BC Soccer is pleased to announce that Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club has achieved Standard 1 of the BC Soccer Club Charter Program. To meet criteria outlined within the program Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC achieved standards which were based on three top-line categories: Technical; Governance; and Administrative.

“Congratulations to Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC for achieving the BC Soccer Club Charter Standard 1,” said Kjeld Broodsgard, BC Soccer President. “Achieving this standard really shows the dedication and commitment to creating the best possible environment not only for players, parents, and coaches but also for all of the clubs volunteers and staff. I also want to thank their coaching staff and administrative staff for working along side BC Soccer to achieve this standard.”

With over 4,000 players and 750 plus volunteers, the project was a significant undertaking, however well worth the effort of supporting a growing movement towards a standards-based approach to delivery of community soccer services in BC!"
