CMF Masters Women Win Gold

Regional Women's Masters September 20th - 23rd, 2018
After going 2-0 in the qualification stage of the Regional Women's Masters Championships, the CMF Women's team would face a strong Des Rivieres Quebec in the finals in their battle for the gold medal. The score sheet remained blank for the full 90 minutes, but Quebec would take lead shortly into the first half of over-time. Though chances were running out, CMF fought hard and would notch the equalizing goal with only 30 seconds remaining in the second half of over-time. With the game tied yet again, the winner would be decided by penalty kick shoot outs. With an awe-inspiring effort from CMF's goalie, Sue Isomura, and penalty shot goals from Phebe Trotman, Megan Blaker, and Sara Maglio, CMFSC captured the gold medal 3-2!
