This fully remote, full-time role of Marketing & Communications Specialist, will play a key role in elevating the Club’s public image, growing membership, and strengthening community connections. From social media and content creation to sponsorship marketing and club communications, you’ll be the driving force behind our messaging, ensuring consistency across all platforms. With a knack for videography, photography, and compelling storytelling, you'll bring our club’s vision to life while working collaboratively with all departments.
What You’ll Do:
Marketing & Brand Development
- Execute marketing plans to support and enhance the club’s visibility and member engagement ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all platforms
- Design and create marketing materials, including flyers, posters, newsletters, and social media posts
- Promote club programs, events, and registration periods through targeted marketing campaigns.
Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Work with the Marketing Coordinator to grow the club’s presence on all social media channels.
- Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and player/coach highlights that drive engagement.
- Monitor trends and analytics to optimize content strategy.
Website & Email Communications
- Maintain & update the Club’s website with accurate program details, schedules, and announcements.
- Execute email marketing campaigns and ensure all content is clear, informative, and aligned with the Club’s strategic goals.
Sponsorship & Community Engagement Support
- Work closely with Corporate Sponsorship Specialist in sponsorship activation, ensuring partners receive visibility into club communications, events, and social media while supporting fundraising and community initiatives.
- Help develop sponsor-focused content and marketing materials.
Storytelling
- Develop communications and social media releases, pitching club stories to local media to benefit the Club.
- Coordinate with Club leadership to highlight success stories, community impact, and player development initiatives.
What You’ll Bring:
- Diploma or degree or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, digital communications, or social media management.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, website content management and email marketing tools.
- Experience with graphic design, photography, and video content creation, including some background in video editing and live streaming for events.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills for content creation, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Passion for sports and community engagement, with experience in sports marketing, nonprofit communications, or event promotion preferred.
- Adaptable and proactive team player, able to work independently while collaborating with coaches, players, and club leadership.

What’s In It for You:
- Flexible hours – some evenings and weekends are required
- A base salary between $60,000 to $75,000, dependent upon experience
