Lucas was a long-time CMFSC youth player and part of the very successful National Champions (2013), the 1995 BCSPL Sparta. He went on to play for UBCO and is now a current member of the CMFSC Men's Premier Wolves. 

Since graduating, Lucas has coached with CMFSC in a number of roles. He started as an assistant coach with the 2001 Boys BCSPL, currently an assistant coach with the 2007 Boys BCSPL team, and will be the 2012 Boys Pre-BCSPL team head coach. Lucas has also coached within the Club Academy and as an Age Group Head Coach.
