Soccer Express - Sponsor Highlight

Opening their doors in 1998, next year will mark the twentieth anniversary of Soccer Express proudly serving as part of the local soccer community. During that time CMFSC and SoccerX have forged a close strategic partnership.

The SoccerX company ownership and senior management group themselves are proud, passionate, lifetime CMFSC members. The founder and principle owner, Brad Leitch, played on the very first CMF team back in 1984 while many of the loyal SoccerX staff team have played for the club and had their children play in the club both past and present.

Over the years SoccerX has happily employed hundreds of CMFSC youth and continue to today at both our distribution offices and our retail superstore on the #1 Highway. It has been a great privilege to watch many of these local youth both employed, or as valued customers, grow up with us under the CMFSC mantra of “soccer for life”. Our long lasting and trusting relationships that we have formed with these players and their families over time are what resonates with us as the best part of being in the business of soccer. We are honoured to feel like “part of the family” at CMFSC.

Our business relationship with both clubs (Coquitlam City and Metro Ford) goes back to the year we opened. We appreciate greatly the support and loyalty that the executive and membership have shown us in that time that has allowed us to become the largest soccer specialty company in Canada all while our retail home base stayed right here in Coquitlam.

Soccer Express has worked very hard to reciprocate those CMFSC commitments with unwavering support and sponsorship annually for the many CMFSC initiatives at the board level as well as supporting the individual teams and players in their fundraising efforts. Our shared resources in buildings, people and special event management has been another successful component in our local partnership with CMFSC.

We look forward to working with the club and its membership in the future and to the continued success of CMFSC.
