CMF Referees Attend Dallas Cup 2018
Posted on: April 11, 2018
Since its inception in 1980, Dallas Cup has provided a rich history of combining marquee teams, talented up-and-coming players, and elite referees with
the ability to create incredible experiences and forge memories across many nationalities and cultures.
Our three CMF referees - Erina Cho, Nicholas On, and Enrique Pedroso, traveled to North Texas to join the 200+ World Class referees from around the
globe to officiate the tournament matches. The opportunity to work with these referees, many of which are FIFA referees with past World Cup appointments,
makes for a truly exceptional once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Entertaining over 105,000 spectators during the tournament weekend, gave our referees
the chance to develop and learn in an intense premier tournament environment. Clubs that attended this year's competition from outside the United States
included Manchester United FC, Tigres UANL, and Arsenal FC.
"It was an incredible experience to represent Canada and have an opportunity to work with top referees from across the world. To learn from experienced individuals such as Concacaf's Director of Refereeing, Brian Hall, was very unique and I look forward to applying what I have learned in Texas to my refereeing back home."
