The Vancouver Whitecaps will always have a special place in my heart—I watched them back when they played at Swanguard. Growing up, I followed Arsenal (Henry era) and Chelsea (Hazard era). These days, I mostly follow the international game. 2026 Portugal World Cup champions?

What’s your favourite soccer memory?

Travelling to tournaments was always amazing. My team went to the San Diego Surf Cup and lost pretty badly—but looking back, it’s one of my favourite memories. Another highlight was assisting the game-winning goal to my lifelong brother, Michael Mobilio, at school soccer provincials.

Any hidden talents?

I’m a 3D modeller and animator. I also write and produce music—I’ve sold lyrics and performed for crowds of 250+ people. For some reason, performing music is scarier than playing soccer in front of large crowds! I’m also pretty good at whistling.

On the field, creativity—there’s nothing better than beating the last defender 1v1. Off the field, the teammates. I still talk to so many people I grew up playing with.

Turf or grass?

Grass

Who is your favourite athlete?

Cristiano Ronaldo—I tried to emulate his speed, power, and creativity. Allen Iverson is my favourite basketball player—smallest guy on the court, but unstoppable. I love flair, passion, and intensity.

Best piece of advice from a coach or teammate?

When I was 14, my coach had us write something important on our wrist with a Sharpie and wrap it in tape before a game. It was one of my first lessons in mindfulness and I’ve carried it with me ever since.

What emoji best represents you on and off the field?

🪡 Needle & thread (on the field) – pinpoint passes and bottom-corner finishes. 🥁 Drum (off the field) – I walk to the beat of my own drum and I’m almost always listening to music.

Who has been the biggest influence on your soccer journey?

My parents. They worked extra shifts to cover fees, and my dad drove me to every early-morning game after working nights. Mom & Dad, I love you—thank you!
