Summer Training Program

Posted on: July 6, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic CMFSC has revised summer programming to correspond with the guidelines & restrictions from viaSport, BC Soccer and Canada Soccer. The CMFSC Summer Training Program is a four-day individual skill development opportunity offered to players Under 9 (2012 born) to Under 18 (2003 born). The program will follow our CMFSC Safe Return to Play & Safety Guide.

The program focuses on speed & agility, ball mastery, passing & controlling, and shooting during each weekUnder the current Return to Play & Safety Guide, there will be no games or activities where players will be in physical contact with other players. *This is subject to change, if we move into the next phase - we encourage all members to review our Return to Play & Safety Guide before registering and attending any session.

  • Before the weekly program, all registrants will be sent detailed information about programming under Social Distance Training and COVID-19 Safety policies. In addition, registrants will need to confirm they understand the CMFSC Assumption of Risk Waiver that they previously signed, particularly that COVID-19 is not covered under club insurance.

  • This program is reserved for ONLY players that are currently registered for the 2020-2021 Fall/Winter League Season with CMFSC. Families that register that are not CMFSC players will be contacted and provided with a refund minus a $10 admin fee.

  • Groups may be co-ed based on numbers.

  • Any players who are struggling with the concept of social distancing and are not able to stay in their space, will require parent participation, or will be removed from the session.

  • Any sessions requiring registration codes will be sent directly to players.
