Training Programs Frequently Asked Questions

Players are identified and invited to Prospects through CMFSC programming - Fall/Winter League, Fall/Winter Training Program, Spring Training Program, etc. 

New Players to CMFSC are directed to sign-up for OPEN programs. 

Players have access to receive extra training through additional academies hosted by CMFSC, with two different types of training programs to appeal to all levels of ability.

Boys & Girls Player Training Program is open to all levels of players that are wanting to learn more about soccer or improve their level of play. Players will be placed in groups that allow for develop in an environment appropriate to his/her ability led by CMFSC Staff Technical Coaches. Activities will be primarily focused on individual technical development and tactical understanding through small-sided games. This is not a league registration and full games will not be played. 

Boys & Girls Prospects Training Program provides U8 - U10 Development Stream players and U11 - U12 Divisional players with an opportunity to train in a more competitive environment. The program will focus on the physical, technical, and tactical side of goalkeeping. This Training Program is an invite only program. All invites will be sent by CMFSC Technical Staff. Players that do not receive an invite are encouraged to register for the Player Training Program. 

If the City of Coquitlam closes the fields due to weather or safety, we will notify all participants via email. We will also update our website and post information on our homepage.

Missed sessions will not be refunded unless a medical reason is provided.

This fee covers player association fees and insurance for players not registered in the league program in that calendar year. 

All program participants must wear shin-guards and cleats. Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing that is weather appropriate (shorts, t-shirt, pants, toque, gloves, etc). It is suggested to wear CMFSC branded gear if possible. CMFSC gear can be purchased through our Club Sponsor:
