Meet Your Official CMFSC Sports Medicine Team!

Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club is thrilled to introduce our new sports medicine team: Jayten Patel (Official CMFSC Sports Physiotherapist), Dr. Paul Manhas (Family Physician) and Dr. Marco Bosquez (Sports Medicine Physician)
Together, they are bringing elite care to our community through Coquitlam Physio & Health, a newly branded clinic dedicated to serving our club, powered by its parent company, Manhas Health Co.
Homegrown Talent, World-Class Experience
Both Jayten and Dr. Manhas grew up wearing the CMFSC jersey. Now, they’re bringing elite sports medicine back to their hometown club.
Jayten Patel: Has been working with sports teams as a physio for about 10 years and specializes in return-to-sport rehabilitation. He had an incredible oppurtunity recently providing sports medical coverage for the 2026 FIFA World Cup right here in Vancouver. He is also currently pursuing an advanced practice master's degree in sports exercise medicine.
Dr. Paul Manhas: Brings elite NCAA experience to his hometown, having served as a sports medicine physician for the Alabama Crimson Tide alongside superstar quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He is the founder of Manhas Health Co, and vision is to bring a 'New Standard' of sports exercise medicine to a local community level
Dr. Marco Bosquez: Our newest addition to the team who brings the highest level of experience and speciality in sports medicine. He is from Texas and has worked with many NCAA Div 1 athletes. Dr. Bosquez will play a big role in acute sports management (ie. sending athletes for medical imaging), fast tracking our athletes in their recovery plan.

Working seamlessly together, the Coquitlam Physio & Health team ensures our players receive the highest standard of care. Jayten directly supports our teams with:
Pitchside Care: Dedicated sports physio coverage for all SPL home games at Town Centre Park.
Concussion Safety: Baseline testing and return-to-sport management.
Sports Injury Rehab: Safe, guided transitions from the clinic directly back to the pitch. Advanced return-to-sport testing and medical clearance provided.
Accessible to ALL CMFSC Members
This collaborative medical network isn't just for our SPL players, it is accessible to ALL Coquitlam Metro-Ford players, families, and club members right here at Coquitlam Physio & Health!
