Kick for a Cure | Making a Difference in the Fight Against Childhood Cancer

Kick for a Cure is an awesome all day event hosted in Coquitlam at Town Center Park. The event includes an Adult Co-Ed soccer tournament, a youth Invitational Soccer Tournament, a youth soccer clinic, Canadian Tire Family Fun Zone, prizes, beer garden, food vendors, sports celebrities, and all day entertainment including live bands. Proceeds from the Kick For A Cure benefit the Michael Cuccione Childhood Cancer Research Program at BC Children’s Hospital. Join us July 6th, 2019 and help kick childhood cancer where it hurts!

As a Club, we'd like to highlight Sheppy's Sheep, a team that has participated in the Kick for a Cure the last five years. Led by Chris Sheppard and The Today Team, the group is made up of many CMFSC Academy Coaches, Initiation Staff Coaches, Age Group Head Coaches, and past/current players. As a group they have raised nearly $25,000 since starting five years ago, and are picking up speed. If you have have a few minutes to spare, we'd appreciate your time to watch and share their video, as more awareness can only benefit this amazing cause:

Sheppy's Sheep will be hosting a Pub Night event on June 1st at 6:30 pm at Mickys Public House (170 Golden Drive, Coquitlam). Tickets can be purchased for $25 from Giovanni Carida or if you'd like to personally contribute to their team, here is their link: https://www.kickforacure.ca/teams/sheppys-sheep
