NEW  U13 2010 Provincial B Cup Finalists CMFSC "Black Ice"
The U13 Girls CMFSC “Black Ice” took Silver at this weekend’s provincial ‘B’ Cup soccer championships in Richmond.

Finishing at the top of their pool with 2 wins and a tie, the Black Ice faced the “B” pool winner from Vernon Sunday for the provincial Challenge Cup.

The final was a hard fought game with the Black Ice off to a slow start and finding themselves down 2 goals within the first 15 minutes to a bigger stronger team from Vernon. Over the rest of the game, the Black Ice turned the momentum around and fought back with chance after chance.   Unable to find only the cross bar, the back of the net eluded the team and the final score was 2-0 in favour of Vernon.

The game caps an amazing run for the girls who amassed a total of 30 wins, 6 losses and 4 draws over the season.
