Coaching Application
Be a part of one of BC's fastest growing and most successful soccer clubs. Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club is now accepting applications for Coaching positions with Competitive Boys and Girls teams at all age groups (U11-U18) and levels for the 2010-2011 Season.
Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club continues to run one of the BC's top girls and boys programs. We will field Metro, Gold, Silver, Silver, Bronze, and Red teams at all age levels where applicable.
All applications for coaching positions must be in by February 20th

Coach Selection will be completed by the end of February/early March.
Where there is competition for coaching positions for Teams the Coach Selection Committee consisting of the Club’s Technical Director/Head Coach, and Vice President of Girls or Boys respectively may, if felt necessary, conduct an interview process to discuss and select the Head Coach position only. Final decision is up to Technical Director/Head Coach. Ideally all coaching positions should be filled as early as possible. Coaches of Metro/Select and Gold teams will be selected based on confirmation that their son/daughter is of the level required to compete on the team their parent is coaching. Coaches of Silver, Bronze (boys only), and Red (boys only) teams will be selected based on qualifications, and the level of their son or daughter. Interviews, needed, will be scheduled in February for open coaching positions and all decisions made by the end of February/early March.
Unless determined by the Head Coach/Technical Director, coaches are required to be fully certified at the following levels to be selected as the head coach for a team:
Mandatory for all U11 Coaches in the Association to register and complete the Community Coach Children & Community Coach Youth course by the end of the U11 season. If the coach is new to the club, they must register for the next course offered through CCS.
Mandatory for all Select/Metro & Gold Coaches to have their Full Community Coach Certification (Community Coach Children, Community Coach Youth, and Community Coach Senior) before January of the U13 Gold Season. All Coaches in the U14 age group (Silver A and Silver B level) and above need to work towards their CCS License and be completed by the start of the U16 season.
*Please note for a team to compete in the Coastal A Cup and Provincial A Cup one staff member much be fully certified at the Community Coach Level. *
In addition, we would like all Select/Metro Coaches aspire to complete the B Prep, B Provincial license and further if they are motivated.
Head Coaches only need to apply. Head Coaches are responsible for appointing their Assistant Coaches. If you are interested in an Assistant Coaching position in CMFSC, please contact the appropriate Program Coordinators below as they may be able to pair you with a team.
